Position of Research Associate

 

Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate to work in a research project, entitled “Bharatiya Cinema Main Bharatiyata” sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).

The position details are given below:

 

Positions One (1) Research Associate

Qualification(s)

Qualification – Postgraduate in Mass Communication discipline (55% minimum) with NET /M.Phil. / Ph.D.) * Preference will be given to the candidate:- - Having knowledge of film studies. - Strong publication and research work in related area.

Responsibilities

 Research associate will assist in data collection and report writing. Research associate may have to visit all parts of the country for the survey and other purpose.

Stipend

INR 20,000 p.m. (The relevant ICSSR notification may be perused for further details and norms).

Duration

11 Months

Important Note for Applicants:

  1. Selection committee of MUJ Jaipur reserves all the right to fix suitable criteria for shortlisting the eligible candidates.
  2. Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on merit. The date and time of interview will be informed via email.
  3. No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates for attending the interview. Alternatively, the interview may be conducted via video online platform.
  4. The nature of the post is purely temporary (on contract basis), till the duration of the project. Candidate will not be able to claim any permanent position in MUJ.
  5. Project staff could be engaged by the Project Director within the limits of the sanctioned financial allocation and as per the ICSSR rules.
