The Department of Computer Applications in collaboration with Directorate of student welfare (DSW) and CYPHER CLUB has organized an outreach activity entitled “Awareness about the flagship programs of the Government like Digital India and Skill India” at Government Senior Secondary School, Devaliya on 07th December ’2021 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The objective of the event was to make students aware of flagship programs of the Government like Digital India and Skill India.
On reaching the school all faculty and the students of Manipal University were warmly welcomed by students, teachers, and the Principal Incharge(Mrs. Meenakshi) of school. In total 37 students of XI & VIII standard and 15 students of Manipal University Jaipur participated in the event. Ms. Kuntal Gaur (event-coordinator) introduced the faculty members to the students and teachers. The camp commenced with the interaction of CYPHER CLUB office bearers with students, who shared his experience of made aware them to be aware about various Govt schemes.
Followed by the presentation on title given by the Ms. Muskan Member-CYPHER CLUB (A students Club of department of computer applications) and her team Mr. Sachin & Ms. Seha Jain on various Digital Schemes like Digital Locker etc. And queries of students were addressed in this session. An Oral Quiz was organized for the students based on the presentation given and winners were given a memento. The event was coordinated by Mr Pradeep Kumar and Ms. Kuntal Gaur. At the end of the event a memento was given to the principle and all teachers as a token of appreciation from Manipal University Jaipur. It was a pleasant experience for all of us to interact with ignited minds and answer their quires.
