Dr. (Prof.) Rakesh Premi holds his Ph.D (Branding)  and Masters (MBA) degree from Maharshi Dayanand Sarasvati University, Ajmer and two bachelor’s degrees in Law (LL.B.) and Science (B.Sc.) from Rajasthan University, Jaipur.  He has been an active Lawn Tennis player on the Indian circuit. Prof. Premi has extensively travelled across the globe and brings with him a wide range of academic and industry experience of 38 years, which includes app. 24 years of successfully teaching to post graduate students of management at the university level and ‘heading’ prestigious academic institutions and universities in various capacities.

He has also been a ‘visiting faculty’ to Indian Institute of Management, Shillong and IIM Lucknow. Prof. Premi is the recipient of prestigious "Shikshak Samman" felicitated by former HRD minister Shri Murli Manohar Joshi in 2014, 'Excellence in Education' award felicitated by Hon'ble Governor of UP His Excellency Shri Ram Naik in 2015 and the "100 most influential Directors of India' Education award by World Education Congress in 2016.

Prof. Premi is on the ‘advisory board’ of some institutions, university, and business houses. He is a renowned corporate trainer and consultant in field of ‘Time Management and ‘Branding’ for nearly twenty top companies of India and the list includes names like Birla Corporation Ltd., Parle Products, Lohia Corporation Ltd., Shree Cement Ltd., Clarks group of hotels and many more. Prof. Rakesh Premi also trained officers from government organisations like ‘Rajasthan Police’, NABARD and LIC of India.
