Dr Kalpna Sharma is Professor and Head at the Department of Mathematics & Statistics joined Manipal University Jaipur in August 2012. She has completed her Bachelor’s degree in Science; Master’s Degree in Mathematics along with M.Phil. and Ph.D. from University of Rajasthan. She qualified NET conducted by CSIR in the year 1999. She has an extensive teaching and administrative experience of over 19 years. Dr Sharma is coordinating and maintaining the University Ph.D. program since 2015 and joined as Dy. Director (Research) from the inception of DoR.

She is presently Convener of Library Advisory Committee and member of Internal Committee of the university. She had successfully handled several diverse responsibilities such as Associate Dean (I Year), Head of the Department, NSS Coordinator, Faculty incharge of Rotaract Club, center superintendent for RTU, Academic Coordinator, at different institutions.

On her credit, she has published number of papers in peer reviewed journals and presented papers in National / International conferences. She has chaired number of sessions at International / National Conferences. Currently she is guiding 02 research scholars and 2 scholar completed their PhD under her guidance.

Dr Sharma has also played a lead role to organize conferences, workshops, Manipal Research Colloquium, DST Inspire Science Camps, Faculty Development Programs, blood donation camps etc.
