Mathematics & Statistics department not only supports the engineering departments by offering core and advance courses in Mathematics at the undergraduate (B.Tech.) and Postgraduate (M. Tech.) level in various semesters and science departments, but also runs B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics. These courses have been designed in such a way that they meet the global standards of the mentioned programmes offered in other national and international universities of repute. The teaching-learning process of the department ranges from interactive sessions, discussions, workshops and presentations.
The programme enables students to undertake advanced courses in mathematics, statistics and their applications. Special topics courses enable students to build the necessary background and techniques in the various areas of pure & applied Mathematics and Statistics.
The B. Sc. programme run by the department promotes overall learning through interactive sessions, workshops, conferences and presentations to develop the scope of employability in Teaching, Analysis, Research and allied areas of Mathematics and relevant fields.
The students at Manipal University Jaipur have ample opportunities to participate in various curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities all-round the year. The academic process is completely automated, with an Academic Management System in place.
The spacious and state-of-the-art Library at MUJ is adequately stocked with the requisite number of reference and textbooks, a large number of national and international journals, e-books and e-journals. Students and faculties are given online access to many e-books/courses, from Pearson, NPTEL, Coursera etc.
Many indoor and outdoor facilities, through various Student Clubs, are available to students for sports, cultural and technical activities outside the classroom. The Student Activity Area (SAC) and the Amphitheatre are places where students think, imagine, connect, reflect, and innovate.
