  • How do I apply for admission?

    You can apply online at admission wizard

  • Can I apply to more than one course? Can I do it in a single application?

    If the courses you have opted for fall in the same group, then by all means, go ahead and state your choices in one single application form.

    However, if you opt for courses in different groups, then you will need to fill out separate applications.

  • What is my approximate expenditure for a course I choose to study at MUJ?

    Each program has a separate fee that you can find on that specific page.

    The fee has to be paid on the day of counselling/admission.

  • Can I avail of any scholarships for my study at MUJ?

    There are a number of scholarship options for studying various programs at MUJ that you can find on the specific program page.

  • Will I get hostel accommodation at the time of admission?

    MUJ is a residential institute and all students who are admitted are accommodated in hostels. You can find out more about our hostel accommodation here Hostels.

  • Do you have any management / reservation/ donation quota?

    We do not have any management quota, or reserved / donation seats or payment seats of any kind whatsoever. We grant admission purely on the basis of merit.

    We have a general quota, wherein students are admitted on the basis of their rank in our online entrance test. The other category is the foreign / NRI quota, wherein students are admitted directly, based on the marks/grades they obtain in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent exam).

  • Can an NRI-sponsored student pay the course / tuition fee in Indian rupees?

    No. An NRI-sponsored student’s course/tuition fee needs to be paid in USD, and must be wire-transferred from the sponsor’s bank account to our admissions office.

  • Can a foreign student study on a Tourist Visa?

    No. You need a Student Visa to study at Manipal University Jaipur. If the foreign citizen is of Indian origin, then he/she can get a PIO (People of Indian Origin) Card or an OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) Card. Students with a PIO or OCI card can study in India without a student visa.

  • How do I apply for a Student Visa or PIO or OCI?

    You can apply for a Student Visa or PIO or OCI at your nearest Indian Embassy or Consulate. You will need to submit the admission confirmation letter issued by the Director, Admissions, Manipal University Jaipur.
