The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering(ECE) , Manipal University Jaipur is a centre for advanced research and teaching. The department aims at becoming a leading department that has introduced courses to students that covers larger domains of curriculum such as robotics, imaging, RF engineering, Low power VLSI, MEMS, nanotechnology, microwave engineering and antenna, microchips and many more.
The Electronics & Communication department offers Undergraduate programs, Postgraduate programs and Doctorate programs, which constitute high-tech syllabus, which is industry-oriented.
Undergraduate and Postgraduate students have the opportunity to participate in research projects in ECE labs, and a research paper presented at engineering conferences both at national and international levels. Positions are available during the academic year for the student researchers. The ECE department have well – equipped laboratories and resourceful library constitute the best info-oriented junction for the students.

All labs of the school are equipped with the latest hardware and software tools to support knowledge dissemination in the classroom and provide hands-on practical experience. Important laboratories of school of SEEC, Digital Electronics Lab, Signals and Circuit Simulation Lab, Microprocessors/ Microcontrollers Lab, Electronic Circuits Lab, VLSI Lab, Digital Signal Processing Lab, Embedded System Design Lab, Communication Lab I & II, Power Electronics Lab, Electrical Circuits Lab, Integrated Electronics Lab, Electrical Machines Lab, Microcontroller & Embedded Systems Lab, Power Electronics & Drive Lab, Transducers Lab, PC Instrumentation Lab & Power System Lab.
The area of research include: RF Engineering and Antenna Theory, Signal processing, Nano- technology, Communication Networks, Optical Communication, Low power VLSI Design Technology and MEMS.
The international level conferences, supportive faculty and state-of-the-art laboratories at MUJ played a significant role in enhancing my interest in research.
MUJ hosts a plethora of technical as well as cultural clubs to serve our non-academic interests.
As an ECE student, I learned good debugging techniques while writing and executing code in embedded C for 8051 microcontroller as it will help in my Master’s program in future.
