Dr. Shiva Prasad H C ,Director of School of Automobile, Mechanical and Mechatronics, Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) with effect from July 01, 2019. Presently, Dr. Shiva Prasad H C is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Automobile, Mechanical and Mechatronics, Faculty of Engineering.

Prof. Shiva Prasad H C has a vast teaching and research experience of more than 26 years in MIT, MAHE Manipal. Previously he was working as Professor in the Department of Humanities and Management for teaching fundamentals of management course to UG students. He joined Mechanical Engineering Department, MIT Manipal as faculty in 1992. He is the coordinator for an MOU signed between Texas Tech University, USA on the research project ‘Ethical Engineers’ and MAHE, Manipal. He also instrumental in signing MOU between MAHE and Agricultural University, Shivamogga. He has also worked as a member in setting UPSC Engineering Examination QP, Examiner of Institute of Engineers. He was a research coordinator for the Department of Humanities and Management, MIT Manipal. Having married to Usha and has two children.

He has published more than 25 papers in reputed International and National Journals and has presented papers in several International / National conferences. His area of interest in teaching and research includes Management, Ergonomics, Supply Chain Management, Vendor development.

He is a Life member of Indian Society of Technical Education, Fellow member of Institute of Engineer (Prodn.), Fellow of World Business Institute, Australia, a Life member of Indian Society for Training and Development, Member of World Congress of Engineers, IIPE, etc.,
