Dr Shahbaz Ahmed Siddiqui is Professor & Head, Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Faculty of Engineering, Manipal University Jaipur
Dr Shahbaz Ahmed Siddiqui has been working as an Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Manipal University Jaipur, since June 2015. He did his M. Tech in Power System and PhD in the field of AI applications for Real-Time Control of Power Grid in the year 2006 and 2015 respectively both from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur. His research interests include AI applications to modern power systems and solar cells fabrication & characterization.
Dr Shahbaz have more than 17 years of experience in teaching, research and administration. He has published more than 20 research papers in peer reviewed international journals, majority of them are in SCI (WoS) with high Impact Factors. He also has more than 20 papers in international conferences including 02 papers in prestigious IEEE PES General Meeting, USA. He has chaired/co-chaired sessions in number of national/international conferences. He has received the best paper award in IEEE INDICON, 2015 at Jamia Milia Islamia University New Delhi. He is presently supervising four PhD students. He is a regular reviewer of research articles for many high impact journals including IEEE transactions on Power Systems/Industrial Electronics, IET GTD, EPES, Elsevier, ETEP, Wiley etc. He was instrumental in organizing many Conferences/workshops/seminars/symposia in various roles. He is Life member of ISTE, New Delhi and Member of IEEE.
Dr Shahbaz is also Co-PI of project titled “Experimental Study on Pervoskite Solar Cell” funded under endowment fund of MUJ.
