OVERVIEW

The MUJ Ph.D. Programme is modelled on the new UGC guidelines of Ph.D. programmes. The University envisages high standard of research so that the Ph.D. degree is also of high standard. The objectives of this programme are to impart research training to the scholar and prepare him/her to carry on independent investigation and original research and to enable them to make a significant contribution to knowledge in their respective field and profession. The training programme shall ensure that it is not an end in itself, but a means for a fruitful research career.

Presently, Faculty of Engineering, Manipal University Jaipur is providing admission to the Ph.D. programme for full-time& part-time research in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering.

ASSESSMENTS

• Compulsory coursework of 6 months is required during which student should attain 8-12 credits.
• Every 6 months, students have to present a progress report which is evaluated by the student doctoral committee (SDC). The SDC also provides remarks and suggestions for the next 6 months work.
