Dr Pankaj Vyas is Professor & Head, Department of Information Technology at Faculty of Engineering, Manipal University, Jaipur.
Dr Pankaj Vyas did his B.E. (Computer Science) from Amravati University in 1993. He did his M.E. and PhD in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani in the year 2002 and 2015 respectively. He has over 24 years of rich academic experience with effect from1994. In 2002, he joined Birla Institute of Technology and Science – Pilani, Pilani Campus and has worked at various appointments in the Department of Computer Science and Information System till July 2017. Since July 2017, he is working as Associate Professor in the Department of CSE at Manipal University Jaipur.
During his teaching career of over two decades, he has taught various computer science courses especially related with programming and software engineering domain. He takes great pride in teaching the courses namely ‘Object-Oriented Programming’ and ‘Operating System’. He has guided five undergraduate thesis and two higher degree Dissertations. His research interests include software quality improvement, safety enhancement of object-oriented systems, software safety analysis techniques and early software reliability estimation of object-oriented software systems.
