School of Computer and Communication Engineering is committed to inculcate academic excellence and research aptitude for global competency and leadership. We foster academic, research, and professional excellence in various domains. We aim to nurture the technical skillset of students and enable them to create innovative solutions for real life challenges.

Our goal is to sharpen the problem-solving skills of the students through project-based learning. We inspire young minds to offer practical solutions to society without compromising ethical values. We aim to provide the most preferred platform for innovation, and interdisciplinary learning to the students. We follow a realistic approach for achieving excellence in education, and research. We are continuously striving to achieve the global leadership in higher education and human development.

OVERVIEW

School of Computer and Communication Engineering (SCCE) includes the Department of Computer and Communication Engineering (CCE), and the Department of IoT and Intelligent Systems (Dept. of IoT & IS). The school offers undergraduate programs in Computer and Communication Engineering (B.Tech-CCE), and B Tech Computer Science and Engineering (IoT and Intelligent Systems). Apart from undergraduate programs, the school offers Ph. D program in the thrust areas of computing and communication. A substantial number of full time or part time research scholars are on the rolls. The School has a highly qualified and motivated faculty in both the Departments. 

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

School of Computer and Communication Engineering (SCCE) offers B.Tech programs in Computer and Communication Engineering and B Tech Computer Science and Engineering (IoT and Intelligent Systems). More than 77% faculty members of the school are PhD holders. The faculty is not only inclined towards teaching and research, but equally active in conducting international conferences, seminars, Hackathons, coding competitions, and workshops. They are also competent in establishing National and International Collaborations through MoUs, projects, and consultancy.

The research at the school is supported by a dedicated research lab with high end GPU Machines, IoT devices, and Open Source Wireless Platforms like WARP.

The teaching at the School is facilitated with a dedicated number of core subject labs aided by industry standard commercial hardware and software platforms like Nvidia, Param Shavak Super Computer, Oracle, EMC2, Microsoft Office 365 cloud, .Net, Azure etc.  There are special project labs for IoT and data analytics.

The School is focused on providing a realistic approach of learning to develop a dynamic student team that is efficient in meeting the ever-changing technological and social challenges. The school also promote and nurture the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship among students to enable them, not only to be industry ready, but also to be job creators. SCCE offers collaborative programs for students and faculty, with many IT giants Dell, Microsoft, EMC2, Oracle, Nvidia, Intel, TI, ARM, EC Council, etc. 

The School also provides ample opportunity and encouragement to its students to participate in various sports, club activities, hackathons, and other extra and co-curricular activities, to develop a well-balanced personality.
