OVERVIEW

 

Automotive industry is witnessing disruption through shared and connected mobility through electric and autonomous vehicles. Strict govt. regulations are enforcing transition towards cleaner, efficient and alternative-fuel vehicles.

 

Dept. of Automobile Engineering is imparting quality education through industry specific curriculum since 2012. The 4-year B. Tech program equips the student to skillfully meet the changing requirements of rapidly transforming and highly interdisciplinary automotive sector. 

 

 

DEPARTMENT STRENGTH:

  • Multi-disciplinary electives in addition to core courses to pursue individual interests in R&D, Sales & Service and Manufacturing domains.

  • Support to students for technical events, conferences, vehicle design competitions such as SAE-BAJA, SAENIS Efficycle, Formula-SAE, GoKart Design Challenge, ISIE-ESVC.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certificate during final semester internship projects.
