PROGRAM DETAILS - B TECH ROBOTICS AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

 

OVERVIEW

B.Tech in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence is an AICTE recognized program, first of its kind, will be started in upcoming year at Manipal University Jaipur, Jaipur. It is a four-year (eight semesters) full time undergraduate program in robotics and AI. In this program, multiple electives courses are developed under the minor and Major specialization with separate tracks, e.g., (drone technology and IOT systems) so that each student can develop in individual area of interest as per the industrial requirements.

 

BENEFIT OF THE PROGRAM

B. Tech in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence make engineers to design, develop, and deploy AI for robotics applications in the era of future automation. Program will provide opportunities for a short-term mobility and internships; this will enhance learning and provide graduates with a portfolio of real-world projects to take into their chosen careers.

1. Advance Robotics Lab

At MUJ, the Advanced Robotics Lab is at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, seamlessly combining innovation and engineering prowess. The lab, which is equipped with cutting-edge artificial intelligence, machine learning, and sensor technologies, fosters an environment in which groundbreaking ideas can be realised.

This high-tech haven brings together researchers and engineers to explore advanced algorithms, autonomous systems, and human-robot interaction. The lab's focus goes beyond traditional robotics, exploring soft robotics, swarm robotics, and bio-inspired designs to pave the way for next-generation robotic platforms.

3. Design and Modelling Lab

At MUJ, the Design and Modelling Lab is an innovative hub focused on the intersection of design thinking, robotics, and artificial intelligence (AI). This dynamic space acts as a creative crucible, guiding ideas through a synthesis of cutting-edge design principles and advanced technological solutions.

The lab's mission revolves around the seamless integration of mathematical modelling and functionality into robotics and artificial intelligence. The lab's emphasis on human-centered design ensures that the technologies developed meet real-world needs and expectations.

The facility is outfitted with cutting-edge modelling tools and simulation software, allowing researchers to fine-tune their designs and test the capabilities of AI-powered algorithms. 4. Arduino, IOT Fab Lab

With a strong emphasis on fabrication, the lab enables the creation of IoT prototypes through hands-on experiences. From sensor integration to data processing and communication, the facility offers a comprehensive ecosystem for enthusiasts to explore the limitless possibilities of the Internet of Things.

The Arduino IoT Fabrication Lab encourages interdisciplinary collaboration between hardware designers, software developers, and IoT specialists. This skill synergy accelerates the development of smart devices that can improve connectivity and automation in a variety of domains, ranging from smart homes to industrial applications.

As a hub of creativity and technological exploration, the Arduino IoT Fabrication Lab not only provides individuals with the tools they need to bring their ideas to life, but it also contributes to the evolution of IoT by pushing the limits of what is possible in the realm of connected devices.

The students know about modern-day technologies (learning and hand on) and tools employed in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) education such us robotics, 3D printing and mobile technologies using Arduino and RPi applications. It provides a platform to access the environment, the skills, the materials, and the advanced technology to allow anyone anywhere to make anything.
