The world is talking about 4th Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) which is fusion of advances in artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), 3D printing, genetic engineering, quantum computing, and other technologies. India as a nation has been lagging in earlier industrial revolutions but this era is of Indians. We have highest number of technical professionals with best in class educational system. We aim to harness the future of technology.
The four-year programme ‘B Tech CSE (IoT and Intelligent Systems)’ connects the academia and industries with the young minds in an effective way. It is an intensive and skilful program to utilize the potential and the innovative passion of students. The scheme of the programme is strongly aligned with the present and forthcoming requirements of the industries, and academia across the globe. Thus, it offers the ample of carrier opportunities to the students. In favour of the never ending process of learning and research, this programme meets the global standards of master’s Programme in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, IoT, Smart Cities, Smart Healthcare and Smart Farming offered at the national and international universities of repute.
This programme equips students with fundamental concepts of computer science, advanced technologies and skills for providing the intelligent and technological solutions for the real-time problems of the society. It aims to prepare students to work as highly paid professionals such as AI expert, Deep Learning Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, Research Engineer, IoT Architect, and Computer Vision Engineer.
The teaching-learning process ranges from interactive sessions, discussions with industry experts, workshops, and projects. Educationists, and Industry Experts are invited for interactive sessions or seminars to motivate and guide the students.
The program is highly innovative and job oriented leading to working opportunities in India and abroad in Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Machine Learning and Deep Learning at MNCs. The degree in ‘B.Tech CSE (IoT and Intelligent Systems)’ provides professional training at global standards and also promotes the self-esteem, motivation, aesthetic awareness, creativity, innovation and appreciation of diversity.
This programme meets the exponentially growing demands for the experts in AI and IoT at Industries, academia and research organizations. There are very few courses in India to provide the specialization in ‘IoT and Intelligent Systems’. Therefore, the programme will help us to establish a large base and eventually alumnus.
The overall mission of ‘B.Tech CSE (IoT and Intelligent Systems)’ programme at Manipal University Jaipur, is to inculcate academic excellence and research aptitude in the students. Through qualified teaching professionals, the Department of Computer and Communication Engineering aims to achieve the following objectives:
a) Problem formulation from the real-life scenarios.
b) Imparting knowledge and develop expertise into the domain of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, and Deep Learning.
c) Project-based learning to provide technological and intelligent solutions for the challenges identified in building smart cities, smart healthcare, and smart farming.
d) Designing tools for ease of everyday life.
e) Advanced learning in developing intelligent systems for patient monitoring.
f) Use of AI and IoT to reduce the cost of building tools and to increase the profit for Entrepreneurship and business.
g) Inculcate the theoretical knowledge, and practical components in AI and IoT to pursue their higher studies or career interests. h) Candidates wishing for a more advanced level of understanding in the field of AI and IoT and contributing to research work can further opt for higher courses such as Master’s Degree, M. Phil, and Ph. D., etc. in the subjects.

The students at Manipal University Jaipur have ample opportunities to participate in various curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities all-round the year. The academic process is completely automated with an Academic Management System in place.
The spacious and state-of-the-art Library at MUJ is adequately stocked with the requisite number of reference and textbooks, a large number of national and international journals, e-books, and e-journals. Students and faculties are given online access to many e-books/courses, from Pearson, NPTEL, etc. Many indoor and outdoor facilities, through various Student Clubs, are available to students for sports, cultural and technical activities outside the classroom. MET 2021 Rank Holders
The candidate must have passed 10+2 or A Level or IB or American 12th grade or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and English as Compulsory subjects, along with any one of Chemistry or Computer Science or Biotechnology or Biology or Statistics or Engineering Drawing as optional subject for admission to B Tech, with minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics and the optional subject, put together.
Direct Admission to the B Tech Programme
For direct admission (in branches where seats are likely to remain vacant) the following candidates will be eligible:
All remaining MET 2021 rank holders, i.e., those who did not/could not come for counselling
OR
All students who have a JEE rank and have qualified for JEE Advanced in that year
OR
All other Students with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects and who have 50% or equivalent (in PMX subjects) in their 12th std. (where X could be Chemistry/Computers Science/ Biotechnology/Biology/Statistics/ Engineering Drawing).
B. TECH (LATERAL ENTRY)
Candidates are admitted directly to second year, who have passed 3 year diploma in relevant field of Engineering/BSc (PCM) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate can apply for Lateral Entry to B Tech Programmes.
