FAQS REGARDING HOSTEL

  • Other than the room facility, what other services are provided by the hostel?

    • Triple occupancy rooms with modular furniture fittings.
    • Centralized HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) system. All rooms are centrally air-conditioning, with ventilation and heating facilities (HVAC)
    • Timings -  Monday to Friday from 6 pm to 6 am
    • Modern European style attached bathrooms
    • Hot water bath facility available in all the rooms (7 to 9 in the morning & 7 to 9 in the evening)
    • RO treated drinking water at convenient locations and on every floor of the hostel building
    • Hot water dispensing machines at convenient locations for every hostel building
    • Caretakers for routine care/emergencies deployed in every building 24x7
    • Medical Center with all support services like ambulance, pharmacy, etc.
    • Doctors (Resident Doctors) and Ambulance services are available 24x7. Tie up with Manipal Hospital Jaipur in case of emergency
    • Dedicated Psychologist for student counseling
    • Sanitary Pad dispensing machines at convenient locations in girls’ hostel
    • 24x7 Security, CCTV Surveillance on all entry and exit points, Lifts, staircases and corridors in boy’s blocks. The flap Barrier enabled access to the Hostel students for attendance, entry and exit purpose.

  • When will the online room booking start?

    It has already started; you must have received an email with a link for the New Door app with login credentials from no-reply@goodhostspaces.com

  • Where can I pay the fees?

    Kindly provide us with your email ID and we will send you the email with all the details. You have to pay the hostel fees via the New Door application only

  • What are the documents required for arrival?

    You have to bring a hard copy of the following documents:

    -  Vaccination certificate (1 dose) (Hard copy)

    - Parent’s written consent (Hard copy)

    - Student Undertaking form (Hard copy)

    - Student Allocation form (Hard copy)

    - A passport-size photograph

  • Can my parents stay in Hostel or visit the hostel?

    No, due to the pandemic situation we advise that parents should only drop their ward

  • Can my family members avail for the lunch on the day of room allotment?

    Parents are not allowed to have any meal in the hostel cafeterias. However, they can have their meals at any of the cafeterias and eating joints.

  • Do I need to be vaccinated for COVID?

    Yes, you need to be fully vaccinated with minimum 2 doses of recognized vaccination as per Govt. of India guideline. The certificate needs to be downloaded on phone and shown at the time of arrival.

  • What are the electronics that I can use in my room?

    You can only use a hot water kettle, your personal music devices, (not any large boom boxes/ speakers), laptop and mobile phone. No heaters/blowers are not allowed.

  • What if a student does not have consent from parents or unwillingness, will they be allowed to book a hostel? Can any rooms be reserved for such students?

  • How the room allocation will be done?

    Ans. It will be done on the day of arrival or can be done through our New Door application

  • If the Hostel Fee is paid and is not showing as paid in the New Door App, what should we do?

  • If our New Door App account gets locked due to an incorrect password, what should be done?

    To generate a New Password, the following steps should be followed and before that, you must have logged in to the portal once:

    Click on “FORGET PASSWORD”

    Type your registration no.

    You will directly receive an email to your mentioned email ID

    New Password will be displayed in your Mail ID.

  • What are the steps to log in to the New Door app?

    - Open the email received from no-reply@goodhostspaces.com

    - Click on the provided link https://jaipur.goodhostspaces.com

    - Reset the password

    - Click the link to Download the web app for android or iOS devices and save it as a bookmark or screen on your mobile device

    -For laptop or system clock on the provided link and it will open

  • When will I receive the log-in ID Password/ credentials for New Door App?

  • If the student did not receive the Mail?

    Students should check in their “SPAM FOLDER” or email ID to be verified in the student profile

  • Still not received?

  • Is there an option for manual booking?

    Yes, there is, but we would advise students to do it online for hassle-free services.

  • Room booking can be done online and room selected?

    Yes, it can be done through New Door app.

  • I am not able to select the room, what can I do?

    - First log in to the New Door app

    - you have to make the payment first and then you can select the room

  • I have made the payment but not able to select the room?

    - please share your contact details and we will have someone call you back for the same. (Inform Ravi and Sharwari at)

  • How can I raise requests related to services?

  • Can we bring a DD (DEMAND DRAFT) at the time of Room Allocation and under what name?

    NO

  • Can I book the room during the time of Allocation?

    Yes, but you have to pay the fee beforehand and approach the WinHms desk for blocking the room

  • Can we pay the fee by cheque?

    No, you cannot pay the fee by cheque. Fee can be paid by the following modes:

    Debit card with bank predefined payment limit.

    RTGS & NEFT

    Credit card

    Net banking

  • How will I get the fee receipt?

    Student can get the fee receipt from –

    Login to the New Door app

    Go to “Receipts” and get all the details accordingly

  • Mode of payment for gym and laundry fee?

    Can be transferred to the mentioned GHS bank account details or can also be transferred through our New Door app too

  • I have made my payment through RTGS, or NEFT what should I do now?

    Have you updated it in New Door App, if not please do it.

  • If I have made payment through RTGS/NEFT, what details are required?

    Your transaction id, date, account holder's name, bank name, branch and place. You can upload the details in the same

  • Are On-the-spot hostel bookings allowed?

    We have made counters/desks in the hostel premises for on-the-spot room booking.

  • Is there any installment option for the fee payment?

    We currently are unable to provide this option. 

  • How do we pre-book the hostel room and what are the hostel/mess fees for the 1st year?

    To pre-book, you need to make an advance payment of Rs.10,000 at the below-mentioned bank account. Mess fees – 68,000

  • Can I upgrade my room once I made a payment?

    Yes, depending on the availability.

     

  • When will I get the confirmation of my hostel admission?

    At the time of admission, you can choose the hostel facility in the application form and pay for the same. The receipt is your hostel confirmation. Rooms are allocated on arrival into the campus.

  • How frequently are the rooms cleaned?

    All rooms are cleaned by professionals twice every week.

  • Do I need to get my daily essentials, or else I can get around the University?

    You can if you want to, but for your convenience, we have a convenience store within the campus from where you can purchase your daily essentials like blankets, kettle, thermos, etc. and at the best available cost with premium qualities, only for hostellers. Also, please find the attached rate cards for your essentials to pre-book the items.

  • I have not received my log-in credentials?

    Please share your registration number at info.jaipur@goodhosttspaces.com and you will get a reply back shortly.

  • Is the hostel fee refundable?

    Hostel Fee or any part of it is Non-Refundable under any circumstances after the commencement of the session

     

    An appropriate policy on refunds/credit notes will be implemented if the hostels are required to be closed as per orders of the Government due to COVID-19.

  • When the room booking will start?

    You may proceed to book the room after the fee payment.

  • Can I stay with my preferred roommate as I want?

    Yes, you can Co-ordinate with your friend while booking the same room in the NEW DOOR app

  • What is the duration of the academic session?

    Kindly refer to the communication shared by the university for the duration of the academic session.

    Email communication has been sent by the university kindly refer to the same. You can also verify the same from the admissions team.

  • What is the mess charges and does the hostel fee include mess fee?

    The hostel fees do not include mess fees, the same is to be paid at the university. The fees are Rs 68,000/- per year

  • Do we have food outlets inside the hostel premises?

    Yes, we have various brands available within the hostel premises serving Indian/Chinese/south Indian food (Veg & Non-veg) like Dominos, Nescafe, Burger Farm, Amul café, Tea post, Alladin Food Venture, Chatkara, Lets Go Live, Bademiyan, etc.)

     

  • Do these restaurants provide food at the night?

    Yes, till 11 pm you can dine-in and after that students can order through mobile, few outlets deliver the food at the student block entrance till 2 pm.

  • Is south Indian food available inside the hostel campus?

    Yes, it is available 

  • Do we have a retail shop inside the campus?

    Yes, (Allmart & Trendz)

  • Do we have saloon inside the campus and is it separate for boys and girls?

    Yes, it is available for boys & girls separately. (Fashion Villa & Elite saloon)

  • Do we have a stationery shop inside the campus?

    Yes (Parth publishers & Yellow city and E-Mitra)

  • Is courier service available inside the hostel campus?

    Yes, the Delivery point is available inside the campus for all e-commerce co. like Flipkart, Amazon, Myntra etc.
