Dr Arora joined Manipal University Jaipur in 2011 and since then she has worked in various leadership roles in Manipal University Jaipur.

Dr. Arora did her Post Graduation and her PhD in English Literature from University of Rajasthan. She has more than 22 years of rich academic and administrative experience. Her research areas include English Language Teaching, Creative Writing, British and American Fiction, Women’s Writings and Autobiographical literature.  Dr Arora has been conferred with Prof Indira Pareekh, Best Professor Award in 2018, Beti Padao, Beti Bachao, Inspiring Women Award in 2019, Toni Morrison Inspiring Women of the Year Award in 2021.

As a founder faculty member of MUJ, Dr Arora has served in various capacities. She has served as Director Admissions, Deputy Registrar, HOD Arts, HOD English etc.  She was awarded for exemplary work in Admissions by President, MUJ in 2016. 

Dr. Arora has rendered valuable contribution to research, with publication of articles in indexed journals of national and international repute, proceedings, books, and book chapters. She has been supervising research and has organized numerous high visibility events, national and International Conferences, Seminars, Faculty Development Programs, MDPs, EDPs and Train the Trainers Programs etc. She has chaired several National and International Seminars and has been felicitated at various occasions for her contribution.
