OVERVIEW OF THE CLUB
QUREKA- The Quizzing Club of Manipal University Jaipur offers students a unique, exciting and a fun way by motivating, inspiring and encouraging them in their quest and hunger for knowledge apart from their academic knowledge by providing them with the opportunities by conducting regular quizzes or various and interesting topics suggested by the members which keeps them updated and at par with the outside world. Additionally, the club also provides its members the opportunity to participate in quizzes like Tata Crucible which is India’s biggest inter corporate business quiz and SBI Yono which is India's biggest annual quiz competition for college students.
OBJECTIVES OF THE CLUB
The Objective of QUREKA is to encourage students to look beyond their textual knowledge and establish a relationship between theory and application of the learnt concepts. Additionally, we aim to design quizzes in a fun way where in the process it helps one to improve his general knowledge and enables the students to think from different angles or simply ‘to think out of the box’.
VISION OF THE CLUB
The vision of the club is to increase and enhance the level of general awareness amongst all the students in various exciting and entertaining domains such as Science, Literature, Technology, Pop Culture, Sports and Current Affairs which is something outside their regular formal syllabus, and in addition to all this also promote their quizzing ability.
