The Department of Computer Applications in collaboration with Directorate of student welfare (DSW) and CYPHER CLUB has organized an outreach activity entitled “Post Pandemic awareness on Health and Hygiene” at Government Senior Secondary School, Sanjharia on 15th March ’2021 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. The objective of the event was to make students aware of hygiene and health.
On reaching the school all faculty and the students of Manipal University were warmly welcomed by students, teachers, and the Principal (Mr. Kisan Singh) of school. In total 48 students of XI & VIII standard and 20 students of Manipal University Jaipur participated in the event. Ms. Kuntal Gaur (event-coordinator) introduced HOD (Department of Computer Applications), Dr Devershi Pallavi Bhatt and other faculty to the students and teachers. The camp commenced with the interaction of HOD with students, who shared his experience of pandemic and made aware them to better take care of their health and hygiene and follow the various protocols like 6 Ft distance, wearing of mask judicially.
Followed by the presentation on title given by the Ms. Pranjal Choudhary, President-CYPHER CLUB (A students Club of department of computer applications) and her team Ms. Sweta Ramani & Ms. Prashita Khunteta on various hygiene exercise in daily routine and queries of students were addressed in this session. An Oral Quiz was organized for the students based on the presentation given and winners were given a memento. The event was coordinated by Mr Pradeep Kumar and Ms. Kuntal Gaur. At the end of the event a memento was given to the principle and all teachers as a token of appreciation from Manipal University Jaipur. It was a pleasant experience for all of us to interact with ignited minds and answer their quires.
