Aim of setting up 90.8 - Radio Manipal Jaipur - Community Radio Station?
In 2017, the University leadership envisioned reaching out to the local communities through a medium which would create an impact in the lives of people living around the University. During the last six years, after going past through statutory requirements and clearances from multiple governmental agencies, the dream to set up the community radio has become a reality.
To improve the community's standard of living through grass-roots programming and through innovative Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs on education, health, sanitation, entrepreneurship skills, Skill India, government schemes, women's empowerment, etc. Manipal University Jaipur is establishing a community radio station named 90.8 FM Radio Manipal Jaipur on the campus. Radio Station licenses are issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and Department of Telecommunications, Government of India.
